Ryohin Keikaku Co., Ltd. (Tokyo; Satoru Matsuzaki, President & Representative Director) has announced its plan to open the first MUJI store in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, at the Riyadh Hayat Mall, in partnership with Alshaya International Trading Co..

Saudi Arabia boasts the largest oil reserves in the world, producing and shipping mass quantities of oil across the globe. The first MUJI store in this nation is scheduled for the Hayat Mall, located in the Saudi Arabian capital city of Riyadh. The Hayat Mall is situated in a most convenient location, set along the main road running north-south through the region and close to the main thoroughfare connect Riyadh east and west. The mall is home to more than 400 brands, including 12 stores operated by the Alshaya Group.

As with MUJI's presence in Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates, this new expansion will present an opportunity to share the MUJI concept of living a Simple, Pleasant Life with many new customers in Saudi Arabia, hoping to secure MUJI as a favorite shopping destination in the region.
