Heartful Project for the Disabled
We began hiring disabled individuals in Japan in 2000. In 2009, we launched the so-called Heartful Project to promote "sustainable happiness of co-workers", "self-development through mutual trust and cooperation", and "increase and stabilize employment at stores" for the disabled. The Project includes the number of efforts to get the best out of each staff, such as individual work follow-up, coaching, and assessment for further development.
As of February 2018, 395 staff representing 4.73% of the total employment are working either at corporate headquarters or stores.
