Ryohin Keikaku Group company MUJI ITALIA S.p.A. (Milan, Italy; Kenta Horiguchi, president) today announced April 2016 as the scheduled date for the grand reopening of MUJI CORSO BUENOS AIRES (MUJI CBA). After a remodel, the store will feature a new third floor and offer an expanded selection of children's wear and household items.
Originally opened in December 2004, MUJI CBA was the first MUJI location in Italy. The store remained the largest MUJI location in the country, featuring 440m2 of retail floor space and 1,200 items over two floors. The remodel will add an additional floor of retail space, doubling the amount to 946m2 with a total of 2,500 items for sale.
After the reopening, MUJI CBA will be the only location in Italy to offer the Found MUJI* line of products. The newly designed store will be a space for both parents and children to enjoy, featuring an expanded lineup of children's apparel, as well as a wooden play area for children to learn to appreciate the quality of wood crafted items. MUJI CBA will also be home to the first MUJI Aroma Bar in Italy. At the Aroma Bar, customers can experiment with and mix essential oils to create their own fragrances. Other unique services include embroidery for textiles. With MUJI CBA, MUJI is creating a new space for our customers to experience and customize MUJI products, gaining a deeper appreciation and understanding of MUJI's worldview.
