Food Donation to Children's Cafeteria

For children who have difficulties eating at home during temporary school closures due to the spread of COVID-19, the Social Good Division and the Food Division worked together to provide support by donating food through the “Toshima Children's WAKUWAKU Network,” an NPO that MUJI had built connections with through its activities in Toshima Ward.

We received photos of the children's smiling faces and letters from the organizations where the food items were distributed.

We also received a number of messages, saying “The children enjoyed choosing which of the many confectionery to eat every day. I am grateful for your kindness and warm help.” and “I was very happy that the day of distribution happened to be the same day as Children's Day, and both mothers and children enjoyed the food very much."
