MUJI LYON LA PART DIEU Opened
On Friday, January 29, 2021, MUJI LYON LA PART DIEU, the seventh MUJI store in France as well as the largest one, opened with a store space of over 1,300㎡. By offering MUJI's essential everyday products at affordable prices, this store aims to convey MUJI’s idea of “a simple, pleasant life” to customers in France.
This store offers all of MUJI's basic product lines including food, stationery, fabrics, storage, furniture, travel accessories, fashion, beauty and wellness. Thanks to the large store space, each product range will be available more widely, even with some new products to their customers in France. We will also offer a selection of local products such as Mokxa, Le Père Craquant, Go Nuts, Bissardon in a brand new “Local Food” section.
MUJI wishes to affirm a local anchoring by forming partnerships with regional sectors. From 29th January until 7th February, MUJI will join force with the Village des Créateurs - a Lyon structure supporting local designers - to make part of its new store available for designers and artisans in the local region and allow them to present and sell their products. This activity is planned to take place several times a year.
As part of the new store opening celebration, MUJI has partnered with the National School of Fine Arts in Lyon to work with the young artists and designers of the future. This educational partnership takes the form of a drawing competition for My Bag, MUJI’s iconic plain cotton tote bag under the theme of “a simple, pleasant life.”
Please stay tuned for the future updates!
